UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor . It measures a fabric's ability to block harmful UV rays , including UVA (which causes premature skin aging), UVB (which causes sunburn), and, to a lesser extent, UVC .

UPF certified textiles are classified according to several levels of protection, indicated by values: UPF 20, 30, 50 and 50+ .

The UPF50+ label currently corresponds to the highest level of protection available . It guarantees that the fabric blocks at least 98% of UV-A and UV-B rays , allowing only 2% of these harmful radiations to pass through.
It is therefore an ideal choice for all prolonged outdoor activities, particularly in very exposed environments such as at sea or in the mountains.

This garment is designed with a loose fit , specially designed to promote air circulation between the fabric and the skin. This natural ventilation helps limit the feeling of heat , while ensuring great freedom of movement and lasting comfort , even under intense sun.
Unlike a fitted lycra, this top is worn looser , for a more breathable and less restrictive effect on a daily basis.

👉 For those who prefer a closer fit, it is advisable to choose a size below your usual size .

The GUERILLA jersey features an integrated neck gaiter, directly inspired by our OPEX model, for enhanced protection in an even more functional format. Designed to provide permanent sun protection without additional accessories, this integrated system guarantees complete protection of the neck, chin and lower face , without discomfort or overlapping.

Made from the same technical fabric as the rest of the garment (90% polyester for strength + 10% spandex for elasticity), it also benefits from UPF50+ certification , blocking up to 98% of UVA and UVB rays , even when wet.
It is therefore a homogeneous, high-performance solar barrier , ready to follow you in the most extreme environments: sea fishing, high-altitude trail running, humid jungle or tropical navigation.

The neck gaiter's ergonomic shape naturally follows the contours of your face and can be raised or lowered with a simple movement. A perforated area around the nose and mouth facilitates breathing and prevents condensation, even during intense exercise or in extreme heat.

Our OUTWATER technical clothing is equipped with integrated thumb loops , designed to offer protection, comfort and adaptability according to your needs and the conditions encountered.

Thanks to the thumb loop system, the sleeves can extend slightly over your hands, effectively protecting the upper part against UV rays , wind , or even friction during water or outdoor activities. This allows you to complete sun protection without the need to wear light gloves.

By simply inserting your thumbs into the designated openings, you can keep your sleeves securely in place, even during intense movement. This prevents the sleeves from riding up, ensuring continuous coverage of the wrists and forearms, while improving freedom of movement .

🔹 Dual mode of use
The system has been designed to offer you maximum versatility :

• In classic mode , you wear the long sleeves normally, without using the thumb loops.
• In thumb loop mode , you activate the additional protection function according to your activities: navigation, fishing, SUP, or long exposure to the sun.

The mesh, with its airy structure, promotes active air circulation . Placed on areas naturally exposed to heat (under the arms, sides, back or elbow creases depending on the model), it helps to quickly reduce body temperature and avoid the feeling of suffocation.

During exercise, the body produces perspiration. The mesh areas facilitate the immediate evacuation of moisture to the outside of the fabric, allowing rapid drying and maintaining a constant feeling of freshness .

The GUERILLA features a fitted hood and integrated neck gaiter, designed to provide maximum sun protection for the head, neck and upper torso. The collar is designed to naturally rise to the base of the face, ensuring complete coverage of areas often neglected in direct sunlight, such as the upper chest, neck and ears.

Aesthetically, the design remains modern and technical , with discreet but assertive logos, positioned on the torso, the right shoulder and the right arm. This distribution creates a dynamic, well-balanced visual signature , which enhances the silhouette without overloading the style.
