Which countries do you deliver to?

We deliver to most European countries , including France , Belgium , Spain , Italy , Germany and the Netherlands .

Shipping is also available to the United States as well as several other international destinations.

📦 Carrier availability may vary depending on the final destination, and shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout.

What are the delivery times?

Orders are carefully prepared within 24 to 48 business hours. Delivery times then vary depending on the destination and the chosen carrier:

  • In France, you will generally receive your order within 2 to 3 working days after dispatch.
  • In Europe, the average delivery time is 3 to 7 working days.
  • For the rest of the world, allow between 5 and 10 working days.

During periods of high activity, these times may be slightly longer.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your order is shipped, you will automatically receive a confirmation email with a tracking link . This link allows you to track the progress of your package in real time .

Which carriers do you use?

We use logistics partners recognized for their reliability, such as DPD, Colissimo, FedEx, UPS, and DHL. The choice of carrier depends on your delivery country, the weight of the package, and the speed of the desired service.

What should I do if I haven't received my order?

If your order appears to be late or has not been delivered within the estimated timeframe, here are the steps to follow:

  1. Check the shipment tracking:
    You will have received a confirmation email with a tracking link as soon as your package has been shipped. Check this link to see the exact status of your delivery (in transit, delivered, awaiting pickup, etc.).
  2. Look in your mailbox / around your home:
    Some carriers may deliver to the mailbox or leave the package in a secure location (garage, shelter, at a neighbor's house, etc.).
  3. Contact the carrier:
    If the tracking number shows "delivered" but you haven't received anything, contact the customer service department of the carrier listed (Colissimo, Chronopost, FedEx, etc.) directly. They will be able to provide you with more details or launch an investigation.
  4. Contact us if necessary:
    If the carrier does not satisfy you, contact us quickly via the contact form on the site, indicating:
  • your order number ,
  • the order date ,
  • and any useful information about delivery.

🔁 Returns & Exchanges

What is the time limit for making a return?

You have 20 (twenty) days from receipt of your order to return an unused product in its original packaging. Returns must be accompanied by the return slip included in your package.

Cash on delivery returns are not accepted, nor are returns without first opening a return file.

All items must be returned intact, in the condition they were received in, in their original packaging with their label intact, accompanied by all possible accessories, instructions for use and documentation so that they are suitable for re-marketing.

Any item that has been personalized cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. Items received outside of the authorized delivery timeframe or items received that do not comply with our terms and conditions of sale will not be accepted. Consequently, this item will be returned at the buyer's expense.

You just need to make sure that the product is returned in its original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with its original packaging and labels.

How do I return or exchange an item?

To make a return or request an exchange, simply contact us by email at support@outwatercompany.com .

Please specify your order number, the product(s) concerned and the reason for your request.
We will then tell you the procedure to follow and the address to return your item.

Are return costs covered?

Except in the event of an error on our part (product error or defect noted), return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We recommend that you choose tracked shipping to avoid any loss.
If the return is due to a preparation error or a defective item, we will of course cover the costs.

How long does the reimbursement take?

Refund will be issued to the original payment method within 7 to 14 days after receipt and inspection of the return.

Will out-of-stock products be restocked?

Replenishment depends on product type and demand.

What is the UV protection of OUTWATER clothing?

All our clothing is UPF50+ certified, the highest textile standard for sun protection. This means it blocks more than 98% of UV-A and UV-B rays, even when wet or after multiple washes.

What is THERMOFLOW FIT™ technology?

THERMOFLOW FIT™ is an exclusive OUTWATER fabric technology designed to provide a feeling of freshness, even in hot or humid environments. It is based on 4 key elements:

  • A loose fit that promotes air circulation,
  • Strategically placed breathable mesh zones,
  • A quick-drying technical polyester/spandex fabric ,
  • A refreshing effect that can be activated simply by moistening the garment.

This combination allows natural thermal regulation, without the addition of chemicals, for prolonged comfort during activity. 

How does the cooling effect work?

Refreshment is activated simply by wetting the fabric: misting, splashing, quick immersion...
The water absorbed by the fiber slowly evaporates, consuming the heat on the surface of your skin.
This physical phenomenon creates a real sensation of freshness, without sticking to the skin, without weighing down the fabric, and without discomfort once dry.

Are OUTWATER clothes tight-fitting?

No. All our models are deliberately designed with a loose fit , to allow air to pass through, facilitate evaporation, and avoid any feeling of oppression.
If you prefer a more fitted fit (under a vest or for a more urban look), it is possible to take a size down.

Are the clothes salt water resistant?

Yes. The fabrics we use have been specifically selected to withstand marine use: constant humidity, salt water, friction, and heat. They retain their elasticity, comfort, and UV protection, even after numerous washes and exposure to real-world conditions.

How to care for an OUTWATER garment?

Here are our care recommendations to extend the life of your garment:

  • Machine wash at 30°C , gentle cycle.
  • No fabric softener , bleach or harsh products.
  • Do not tumble dry or iron.
  • Dry flat , in the shade, in the open air.

Simple and respectful maintenance guarantees the longevity of the fabric and the preservation of technical properties (anti-UV, breathability, elasticity).

Are your clothes really UV-protective?

Yes. All OUTWATER garments are UPF50+ certified, the highest level of textile protection against UV rays.
This means they block more than 98% of UVA and UVB rays , even when wet, stretched or exposed to the sun for long hours.
This certification is not just a marketing argument: it is the result of independent laboratory tests.

How is the loose fit a technical advantage?

Unlike tight-fitting clothing, loose-fitting clothing allows air to circulate better around the body. This:

  • promotes heat dissipation ,
  • prevents the fabric from sticking to the skin when wet,
  • enhances the natural cooling effect of the garment,

What is the difference between the GUERILLA PRO, GUERILLA, SPREKS and CAMP ONE models?

These 4 technical tops are all anti-UV, but meet different uses or preferences:

  • GUERILLA PRO : The most complete. It includes an ergonomic hood, an integrated neckband, thumb loops, mesh areas, and zippered chest pockets . Ideal for long exposure to the sun and prolonged activities.
  • GUERILLA : it has the essentials of the PRO (hood, neck warmer, mesh, thumb loops) but without the pockets . Lighter, perfect for active practices.
  • SPREKS : Crew neck design with thumbholes and breathable mesh. Very lightweight, breathable, excellent in warm conditions or for layering.
  • CAMP ONE : the most minimalist model, without mesh or thumbholes, designed for simple protection and everyday use.
Why do some models have thumb loops?

Thumb loops are not just a stylistic effect. They allow:

  • to keep the sleeve in place even in action,
  • to protect the back of the hands without wearing gloves,
  • to prevent the sun from getting between the sleeve and the gloves.

It is a technical detail designed for the most demanding conditions, particularly at sea, at altitude or on the water.

What are KIHEI PRO sleeves used for?

KIHEI PRO arm sleeves are designed to protect your arms from the sun while providing comfort and performance. They are:

  • UPF50+ certified , blocking more than 98% of UV rays,
  • made from a stretchy and breathable material, which adapts to the body shape without compressing,
  • equipped with a discreet silicone grip at the top of the arm to prevent them from slipping,

What is the difference between SHAKA, SHAKA SHORT and SHAKA HD?

SHAKA techniques are available in 3 versions, depending on your use and your
need for protection:

  • SHAKA HD : Reinforced model with wide wrist coverage, a Velcro fastener, and thicker materials. Designed for extreme situations or long sessions at sea.
  • SHAKA : Technical mitten with mid-length , non-slip palm and lightweight fabric. Perfect for effective protection without restricting movement.
  • SHAKA SHORT : Short version, without palm grip, for maximum freedom of movement and increased breathability. Ideal for dynamic activities and very hot climates.
What is the “Easy Release” system on gloves?

The Easy Release system is a small loop between two fingers that allows you to easily remove your gloves, even when wet or sticky. No more sudden movements or trapped fingers: a simple pull is all it takes to gently remove them. A practical detail that makes all the difference on the pitch.

What is the "Jump-In" system for?

The Jump-In system is a reinforced opening area at the wrist (or on the top of the hand depending on the model) which makes it easier to put on the gloves quickly.

Unlike a classic glove which can turn inside out or resist when wet, the "Jump-In" allows you to slide your hand inside in a single movement , even when wet or sandy.

It is a solution designed for users who have to put on or take off their gloves frequently, particularly at sea or when actively fishing.

🕶️Polarized glasses

What are polarized glasses and why are they useful?

Polarized sunglasses are equipped with lenses with a special filter that eliminates horizontal reflection of light (that which bounces off water, sand, snow or metal surfaces).
This filter:

  • drastically reduces glare ,
  • improves the perception of contrasts and the reading of reliefs,
  • rests the eyes on the duration,
  • and sometimes allows you to see under the surface of the water (ideal for fishing, SUP, sailing, etc.).

It is essential visual comfort for all outdoor and marine activities.

What are the differences between the shades SUNRISE, GREY, FLASH BLUE, RUBY, JADE?
  • SUNRISE : Category 2 yellow/orange tint, ideal for low light (morning, evening, overcast). Accentuates contrasts while maintaining good brightness. Perfect for fishermen at dawn or sailors at daybreak.
  • GREY : natural shade in Category 3 , which respects real colors. Suitable for long days of strong sun, driving and all prolonged outdoor activities.
  • FLASH BLUE / RUBY / JADE : colored mirror treatments, all in Category 3 , which combine style, UV filtration and glare reduction. These filters improve the perception of contrasts while effectively protecting the eyes in strong light.
    FLASH BLUE is perfect on seawater, FLASH RUBY for high contrast areas, and FLASH JADE for soft, balanced vision.
How do you know which glasses to choose?

It all depends on your usage:

  • Morning / End of Day Activities → SUNRISE
  • All day exposure / driving → GREY
  • Sea / strong sun / look / technique → FLASH BLUE / JADE / RUBY

I already wear glasses: do you have a solution?

Yes. OUTWATER offers two options specifically designed for prescription eyeglass wearers:

  • OTT (Over The Top) : polarizing flip-up clip-ons , to attach directly to your prescription glasses.
    Practical, discreet, compatible with most optical frames.
  • OTG (Over The Glasses) : Polarized overglasses that fit over your glasses. They offer excellent coverage, are very lightweight, and are suitable for driving or prolonged activities.

Both solutions come with a case and an OUTWATER microfiber cloth .

What do the categories (cat. 0 to cat. 4) mean for sunglasses?

⚠️All OUTWATER models are Category 3 , except for the SUNRISE tint, which is Category 2. This guarantees comfortable vision in full sunlight without hindering perception.

What is the TAC material used in your glasses?

OUTWATER lenses are made of TAC , a multi-layer material used for high-quality polarized glasses.

TAC stands for Tri-Acetate Cellulose . Here are its benefits:

How to wash an OUTWATER garment?

To preserve the performance and lifespan of your technical clothing, follow these 7 golden rules :

  1. Cold wash only (max. 30°C), delicate cycle.
  2. No fabric softener : it clogs breathable fibers and impairs UV protection.
  3. No bleach or harsh products.
  4. No tumble drying , even at low temperature.
  5. No ironing : the technical fabric does not require it and could melt.
  6. No dry cleaning .
  7. Dry flat and in the shade to avoid distortion or discoloration.

Good to know: OUTWATER clothing air dries very quickly. No need to rush the process.

Should you rinse your clothes after going out to sea?

Yes. After contact with salt water, sand, or cloudy water, it is strongly recommended to rinse with fresh water as soon as possible. This:

  • preserves the elasticity and suppleness of the fabric,
  • prevents salt crystallization,
  • extends the durability of prints and seams.
Can I wash accessories like gloves, neck warmers, sleeves, etc.?

Yes. OUTWATER technical accessories are designed to withstand the same maintenance conditions as clothing.
👉 Cold wash , no fabric softener, no tumble dry.
Flat drying or hanging to air dry is ideal.

Does the fabric lose its UV protection over time?

No. UPF50+ protection is integrated into the very structure of the textile fiber .
It is neither surface applied nor dependent on chemical treatment that would wear away.
Even after dozens of washes, it remains active .

Does the THERMOFLOW FIT™ cooling effect diminish over time?

No. The cooling effect is based on a natural physical phenomenon : the evaporation of water.
It is not an added treatment but a structural property of the fabric and cut.
As long as the garment is well maintained, the effect remains permanent .

THERMOFLOW FIT™ Technology

What exactly is THERMOFLOW FIT™ technology?

THERMOFLOW FIT™ is an exclusive technology developed by OUTWATER to naturally cool the body , without chemicals or batteries.
It is based on the combination of three key elements :

  • a technical polyester/spandex fabric specially designed to dry quickly while absorbing some water ,
  • a loose fit , which allows air to circulate freely and accelerate evaporation,
  • ventilated areas (breathable mesh) placed in strategic locations such as the back or armpits.

Together, these elements create a constant cooling effect , triggered by humidity (perspiration, splashes, misting) and amplified by movement and wind.

How does this cooling system work?

This is a purely physical phenomenon : evaporation consumes heat.

When you wet your OUTWATER top (by splashing, misting, or quickly submerging it), the water trapped in the fibers gradually evaporates. This process:

  • absorbs heat from the skin's surface,
  • causes an immediate sensation of freshness ,
  • works even in the absence of wind , thanks to the garment's loose and ventilated cut.

And the more you move, the more air circulates around your body… the more the cooling effect intensifies.

Does it have to be wet for it to work?

No , it is not necessary to wet the garment for it to be effective.

Even when dry, the loose fit and mesh areas improve natural ventilation , increasing comfort in hot climates.

However, as soon as the fabric is slightly dampened (splashes, perspiration, misting, etc.), the THERMOFLOW FIT™ effect is triggered immediately : the evaporation of the water absorbs body heat and creates a feeling of freshness.

Does this effect wear off or disappear over time?
