Under the sun, between salt, taut line... and maguro

I am Ivan , originally from Italy , from Lendinara, a small town between the Po and Adige rivers. Fishing has always been part of my life. My first pike at 6 years old , my first spinning rod at 12 , my beginnings in belly boat at 16 ... I grew up with a rod in my hand, always looking for new sensations.

For a long time, I hunted freshwater predators, exploring Italy far and wide, collaborating with Japanese and American brands. But in recent years, my passion has taken to the open sea .

Today, what excites me more than anything is the bluefin tuna . The maguro , this noble, powerful, demanding fish. I look for it offshore, under a blazing sun , in conditions where every detail counts: technique, endurance, instinct, and above all equipment .
